We’re Looking for Conservation Partners
Rattled is an independent conservation documentary about the Massasauga rattlesnake and the threatened wetland habitat it depends on in Ontario. We’ve begun the work in the field, capturing the people, science, landscapes and snakes at the centre of the story. Now, we’re looking for the right partners to help us finish the work and the film that we’ve been self-funding for two years.
Our official Rattled pitch deck outlines the story, production approach and opportunity to support the documentary through funding, sponsorships, partnerships and other forms of collaboration.
Why Rattled Matters
The Massasauga is one of Ontario’s most misunderstood snakes. It is also part of a much larger conservation story involving habitat loss, wetland protection, species recovery and the often complicated relationship between people and wildlife.
That gives Rattled a purpose beyond simply documenting a snake. The film offers an opportunity to bring viewers into a landscape they may never have experienced, introduce them to the researchers and conservationists working there, and show why protecting habitat matters.
We’re Looking for Conservation Partners
Finishing an independent documentary takes more than cameras and editing. It takes people and organizations willing to see the value in the story and help it reach an audience.
We’re inviting conservation organizations, foundations, corporations, environmental groups, researchers, land trusts and potential sponsors to explore ways of getting involved.
That could mean direct project funding, sponsorship, an organizational partnership, support for specific production costs, or helping with outreach and distribution once the film is complete.
Every partnership will be approached thoughtfully. The goal isn’t to turn Rattled into a promotional film. It is to protect the independence and integrity of the documentary while building the support needed to finish it properly.
Help Us Finish Rattled
Our pitch deck provides a closer look at the film and the opportunity ahead.
If your organization has an interest in Massasauga rattlesnake conservation, Ontario wetlands, habitat protection, biodiversity, environmental education or conservation storytelling, we’d welcome a conversation.
Rattled is already underway. Now we’re looking for the right people and organizations to help us take it the rest of the way.
