Rattled: Back from the Field in Ontario
We’ve just returned from another round of filming for Rattled, our documentary exploring the Eastern Massasauga rattlesnake and the challenges facing one of Ontario’s most misunderstood native species.
This latest trip took us to two very different parts of the province: the Georgian Bay region and the Windsor area. Each brings its own landscape, conservation challenges and perspectives to the story we’re building.
Every trip adds another piece to the puzzle. We’re gathering footage, meeting people connected to these landscapes and building a deeper understanding of the Eastern Massasauga, its habitat and what its future might look like in a changing Ontario.
There’s still work ahead, but the documentary continues to take shape. For us at WorkCabin Films, Rattled is about more than a snake. It’s about the relationship between wildlife, habitat and the growing pressures on the natural places both depend on.
We’ll have more to share as production continues. For now, we’re back from the field with new footage, fresh perspectives and more of the story in the can.
